As I’ve told you in my previous post, I’ve already completed my starter set of makeup brushes. And if you want to venture this insane industry, you have to start with the right and strong tools, right?
I’ve been a friend of google since I started working for Digital Marketing. And I know how hard it is to have 10 bookmarks a day and numerous “dammit!” because there aren’t free e-books available around the web. I also followed a lot of makeup artists on Instagram and tried to judge their style in a good way, while still figuring out how to put my own in every gig I work on.
So I did promised that I’ll be doing Monthly favorites + product review every month. But After March, I didn’t have all the energy to continue. Haha! I’ve been very busy, what with my 1 day job and 2 freelance gigs. But now that I’m no longer in an agency, I managed to finally create milestones for Flowers for Kimberly, which became my refuge and passion project during my quarter-life crisis days.
Anyway, October Marks the 10th month of my #BuildYourOwnTraincase campaign. 2 more months to go, babes! I already plot the posts in my calendar and is now working on an e-book for MUAs who are starting out.
Starting your professional makeup career is a lot of hard work. I was only collecting a makeup and it stressed me out like crazy. But if you choose the awesome and crazy path of makeup artistry, you might as well start strong. Choose the right professional makeup bag that fits you as a creative professional.
So as part of my #BuildYourOwnTraincase campaign, I’ll create a list of all the different professional makeup bags out there and what I’m using as of the moment.
After a 5-month hiatus because of work, I’m finally back just in time for Flowers For Kimberly’s 4th year Anniversary on September. And to give you a heads up, I was introduced to Korean Skincare from Althea Philippines by a friend last month. And I thought, “Why not make a review about it?”. So ladies and gents, I present to you, my Althea Philippines review!
March Monthly Favorites! Yayyy!
It’s been a while and I still can’t get over from our Badian, Cebu Trip. Anyway, I know that it’s the second week of April already, but I promised y’all that I’ll be doing my “Monthly Favorites” every month, so here you go.
I received a lot of free products lately because I’ve been spending money for my professional makeup tools, but I only liked a handful of them. The purpose of my Monthly Favorites is to give you my snippet reviews of the products and provide reasons on why I love them.
It was a one week preparation.
My office colleagues book a round trip flight tickets to Cebu for 11 people, some time last year. A year after, we are armed with a lot of stress with numerous clients and half of them backed out. One week before their trip, a friend asked me to join them.
I was reluctant
Just last week, My friend Lara and I embarked on a journey to the Northern Mountains, in Sagada.
A year before the trip, Lara and I promised that we’ll go to Sagada someday. It happened even before That Thing Called Tadhana was shown in theaters. The planning was so sudden.
I deeply apologize for being away too long. I’ve been busy with familiarizing myself in the world of digital advertising that I am so preoccupied both of my office and freelance work.
Anyway, a lot has happened in 3 months and I’m pretty sure that you now know about 2016 Pantone Colors of the year the Rose Quartz and Serenity.
This week goes to Seoul. I can’t stop drooling and fangirling on Seoul Fashion Week 2016 collection. And even if I still can’t get over Valentino Resort 2016 collection, here I am again, amazed at how my fellow Asians put it all together. So as part of my fashion report to you guys, here are my favorite pieces so far from Seoul Fashion Week 2016 S/S.
For the record,
As y’all noticed, I’ve been posting a blog post every now and then, thanks to my ever-so-understanding company and my forgiving schedule. If you’re my follower on IG and Facebook, you know that on Flowers for Kimberly’s Anniversary relaunch (And my birthday!) I received such wonderful roses from the sweetest man alive. I’m not the type to throw away things especially if they’re valuable to me. So I decided to make a DIY potpourri out of it.
