Oh God, I’m way behind this blog because life happens. A few weeks back, I was invited to the product launch of Lampe Berger Paris. We all talked about air purifiers and tita stuff over coffee and great late lunch (I don’t say great lightly, there are a LOT of food!)
Anyway, Lampe Berger Paris started in France way back in 1898. It’s an air purifier and fragrance in one. Even Coco Chanel herself owned one in the 1950s. I ‘m so kilig when I know this, to be honest. Currently their purifying scents collection has everything from your favorite scents like lavender and jasmine to a more economical scent like mosquito repellent and well, unscented.
Benefits of Lampe Berger Paris
Lampe Berger Paris is a quite expensive brand than your resident home diffuser but aside from the fact that Coco Chanel herself used one, it also packs a lot of benefits like improving air quality, breaking down molecules to get rid of bad odors (bye-bye tuyo smell!), perfuming the home (come on, just imagine someone entering your home that smells like French Lavender.), decomposes second hand smoke, and being an overall insect repellent.
What really set this aside for me is the insect repellent and odor-fighting benefits. You see, I live in one of the most expensive cities in Metro Manila so my space is as small as I am. cooking odors and other stuff lingers longer in small spaces so it’s hard for me to get rid of the smell. Not to mention my never-ending paranoia with insects.
If you have kids with asthma and other lung problem, Lampe Berger will probably be the perfect air purifier for you. I have allergic rhinitis that triggers when I open my electric air diffuser so I ended up buying the non electric ones 🙁 Lampe Berger Paris has a patented structure though. It’s literally a lamp. So I don’t have to worry about my allergic rhinitis every time.
Introducing Parfum Berger Bouquet
And here comes the star of the show! Parfum Berger Bouquet is one of their newly-launched products. The bouquet is ceramic and diffuses the odors evenly in a 19-sqm room (which is cool, TBH). 3 ML of fragrance lasts about 2-3 days.
I personally like the diffuser type than the lamp because no matter how reassuring they are, I can’t help but worry about setting something on fire.
