I am fully aware that 12 days had passed since the “New Year, New Me” quotes began circulating around the internet, and I know that they are long gone by now. But I just want to take this time to greet all my great and awesome readers a Happy New Year. This year had been a blast, with FFK achieving its own milestones one at a time. Of course, it’s not a smooth ride, but it’s all worth it, don’t you think?
I’ve decided that this year’s mantra for me would be “Let’s start the journey.”
No matter how small or how irrelevant it is, I’m trying to tell myself every morning that today, I’m going to start my journey. It doesn’t matter if it’s in the middle of June or December, the purpose of this is to have something to look forward for. Self-talk, based on my experience, is one of the most powerful talks you’ll ever have. Because you need to believe in your own words and credibility, which, in return, will lead you to knowing your self-worth.
2014 was all about making new friendships and dropping people who poisons my spirit. One thing I’ve learned last year is that you need to leave people behind if they’re toxic to you. Regardless of all the memories and years of friendship that you’ve shared. You are always free to leave because no one asked you to stay awhile and bear with any negativity.
Anyway, this post is dedicated to all of my readers and followers. May your 2015 be filled with unending blessings and prosperity. Here’s to new beginnings and new life, to your haunted past and vague future, to those who stayed in your life and to those who leave, to your best of friends, to your family, to the love of your life, and to Him – who provides us with everything that we ever need.
